Teen8 is becoming a group of very talented young people. This is becoming a problem as there is so much talent in this ever growing group that we are going to have to find a big show with a big cast to showcase all this talent.

Not only can they act but they can sing too. It is overwhelming how many lovely singing voices there are so I am working on a Teen8 choir. Any help with this please feel free to come along.

I am very grateful for the help that I am getting from Heather Adam, Ryan Arndt, and Katherine Kinsella they are a great crew and the young people are gaining from the plays that Ryan and Katherine are working on with a small cast each.

Ryan is directing a Shakespeare comedy for young people with a cast of 4 who play multiple parts; it is a very clever one act play with talented youngsters.

Katherine is directing ‘A Thousand Cranes’ a Japanese story based around Hiroshima. These plays are very educational also and will benefit the actors in other ways.

Heather is a protégée of Creative Works and Junior Theatre 8. Heather is an up and coming actress herself and has many attributes that she pass on the Teen8 members. She works well with the team that we have and is pretty good on the discipline!

Heather and I are working on a Christmas show for the end of year concert for parents. We are going to showcase the voices and talents of the team.

The third play in the trio of one act plays will be ‘Robin Hood’ directed by Heather and myself.

Teen8 are going to be Stars of ‘Relay for Life’ where they have been invited to do spectacular Fashion Parade of Period clothing and Costumes. (Yes I know I keep saying “never again") but the youngsters are so popular that they are ‘by public demand’ they will also sing some of the ‘Cindy’ songs and a couple of popular numbers. The date is of course 22^nd October and I will let you know the time when it has been decided as we have been offered two of the best times.

Welcome back to Robert and Mary who have had an exciting time on their holiday in Switzerland and South of France. The kids have been asking ‘When is Aunt Mary back’ nice to be popular isn’t it.
